TPP series planar transformers, combined ED core, PCB coil, and triple insulated wire together, with compact structure, high withstanding voltage, low leakage flux and less skin effect, are suitable for using in high frequency AC-DC power supply with high conversion efficiency, such as chargers for smart phones and tablets, especially QC2.0 and QC3.0 quick chargers.
To ease the anxiety brought by rapid consumed battery of telecommunication devices, chargers which are portable, artistic and small as well as able to be charged safely and rapidly are increasingly demanded. As a pivotal component within, transformers have always been the center of concerns.
Integrated the advanced design and production technologies in PCB and transformer fields, SUNLORD has developed the TPP series low power planar transformer suitable for telecommunication device chargers. With high power-volume ratio, low leakage flux, high withstanding voltage and low loss, it features low self-heat, safety, reliability and benefits miniaturization of chargers. Specifically, for QC2.0 and QC3.0 quick chargers, optimized design for TPP planar transformer is available to maintain high conversion efficiency at different charging stages and various output voltage levels of QC2.0 or QC3.0 standard.
Current developed product series shown as chart below, with output power as high as 50W, output voltage 5~20Vdc. Products of more dimensions and characteristics under development.
